When your
lease ends
You’ve got options, and a little prep goes a long way. We’ll help you get ready for the inspection so there are no surprises.
Trade up, extend, buy it, or return it.
If you return the car, Audi sends an independent inspector to look at it. If you buy the car, you skip the turn-in fee and you won’t be billed for extra wear or extra miles.
The keys stay yours.
Ask for a payoff in the myAudi app, or call us if you have questions. We love to help you explore all of your options — including buyout and refinance through a number of financial institutions, not only Audi Financial Services.
Are you ready for your lease-end inspection?
Walk around the car the way the inspector will. Did you check for a cracked windshield? Any existing body damage? Tires worn down? Wheels gouged from a curb?
What’s usually fine
Scratches or dents under 2 inches. Three or fewer quarter-size dings per panel. One windshield chip that has not spidered. Tires with more than 1/8 inch of tread.
What usually costs you
Anything over 2 inches. More than three dings per panel. Thin tires. Mismatched tires on quattro. Gouged wheels. Plugged sidewalls. Warning lights on. Aftermarket parts left on the car.

FAQ
Are you ready for your lease-end inspection?
Walk the car the way the inspector will. Check for a cracked windshield, body damage, worn tires, and gouged wheels. Those are the items that turn into extra charges if you return the car.
Who inspects the car?
Audi uses an independent inspector, not the dealership. The visit is free and can be at your home, office, or the store. The report is good for 90 days.
How do I avoid the turn-in fee?
Audi says the fee is waived if you lease or buy a new or Certified Pre-Owned Audi through Audi Financial Services within 90 days.
